Thinking of selling the STi

Anything automotive in nature, but does not explicitly fit into the above forums.

its officially up for sale

http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/cto/1679442091.html

not sure how low I will go on it just yet though.

I think its priced decently,on the higher side for an '04 b/c of miles & mods.

I'm not posting this on the suby forum just yet. there are a few up there that have dropped price down into the teens, anything higher then you get a bunch of haters posting in your thread about how expensive it is.

and no, I dont know what i'm doing.

damn, i'm always surprised at how fast some stuff sells online. I think I should've priced some things higher looking at the response, but whatever, I'm not greedy.

Yeah I saw your ad in Craigslist before you even posted up here.. I happened to be on there looking for a daily.

I might look at a '93 Celica GT with 50k miles in a couple of days.

I dont think the car is too cheap right?

market value wise. i know i'll never get money for all the mods back

and a '93 celica with only 50k is like new.

Yeah - I'm going to see it tonight.. then if I think it's half-way decent with no light, I'll see it again during the weekend before making the purchase.

Hey I showed your ad to Olympic Motorsports and they're thinking that a client of theirs (some guy named Sam) might be interested. Maybe something will work out sooner than later.

What about waiting till the new toyota/ subaru ft86 comes out?? That should fit your gas mileage needs, might be a bit cramped on space though.

more concerned about space than mileage, any 4 cylinder car would get mid high 20s mpg anyhow if not higher

Toyota Matrix (Pontiac Vibe) or possibly Mazda Protege 5. honda fit is too expensive for too little car

Ad up on the suby forum. I do not know what i want in return for the car. All I know is that I need another car if I get rid of this one.

post it up on any other car forums you guys are on. they can email me at BuyMySTi@live.com I pay out commission

For Sale or Trade, 2004 Java Black Pearl Subaru Impreza WRX STi. 25,600 miles as of 6/5/10, I still drive the car so mileage will increase. Synthetic Oil changed every ~3000 miles. Fresh tune up with Iridium spark plugs, changed transmission and differential fluid at 22,000 miles. Changed engine oil at 24,500 miles. Car is in excellent condition. No accident, clean history, non-smoker. Original Owner, Title in hand. Located in South Florida at the moment and will be moving to Jacksonville, FL by the end of the month.

Car was dyno & road tuned by Phil Grabow of Element Tuning and made 435 whp (CFT's Mustang Dyno) at 24 psi boost on 93 octane pump gas and 50/50 water/meth injection on 8/1/08 (385 whp at 21 psi, pump, no meth). ~10,000 miles on this setup. I have the car set at 21 psi w/meth. no need for 435 whp on the street is there? only reason I'm using the meth is so that it is being used occasionally. I just got back from a trip and got 25.4 mpg going the speed limit on the highway, no a/c, windows down. In the city, that varies widely depending on the flow of traffic and your right foot.

I can sell it outright or am willing to take trades. I am not sure as to what I would like to drive next so here is a list of vehicles I would consider. Feel free to respond if you have something similar even if its not on the list.

PM me serious offers for purchase or let me know what you have for trade. If you are considering trades, please send me some info/pics about your car. you can email pics to: BuyMySTi@live.com

how much cash?

double lol

Z, get your butt back down here than.

actually, I've been trying to stay out of boost to see how fuel efficient it can be. went up to jacksonville this past weekend and got 25.4 mpg on the way up. no ac, windows down. the sun wasnt even up yet, so it wasnt hot yet.

normal everyday driving, with boost whenever i want, i get ~15 mpg. it varies alot though depending on how much highway driving

uggh, what am i doing??

took out the factory in tank fuel filter and added one under the hood and moved my FP sensor before the fuel pulse dampener thingy and now, for the first time ever, my FP gauge reads steady. for the past 5 years, i was driving around looking at a needle that oscillated wildly under boost.

spent the morning flogging it and watched the gas gauge go down.

and now i want to get rid of it??

I think I do and should, but why.
